York County Economic Alliance to Host Business Achievement Awards Dinner

YORK, PA – May 14, 2013 – The York County Economic Alliance will honor Dr. George W. Waldner, president of York College of Pennsylvania, at its 2013 Business Achievement Dinner on Tuesday, June 11.

He will retire at the end of June, and has been named President Emeritus of the college.

The Business Achievement Award is presented to an individual or individuals who, through creativity, perseverance and dedication, have developed a successful enterprise; whose efforts have created jobs, product and opportunities; whose high moral and ethical values have set a standard of excellence in the marketplace; and whose dynamic leadership has thrust Central Pennsylvania into economic prominence.
