The 2012 York County Economic Alliance Legislative Luncheon was held on Tuesday, February 21 at the York Expo Center. Presenting Sponsor was Memorial Hospital.Attendees heard updates from the York County Legislative delegation. The luncheon was emceed by Evan Forrester, WPMT Fox 43.

2012 Annual Dinner
The York County Economic Alliance presented the ALLIANCEfuel Ignite, Small Business of the Year and ATHENA Awards at the Annual Dinner on Friday, March 30. Mike Black, DOCEO Office Solutions, received the ALLIANCEfuel Ignite Award. The Ignite Award recipient is chosen for their participation in professional development activities, community involvement and leadership in ALLIANCEfuel, and influende they have had on other young business leaders. Vaughn Silar, Paragon Engineering Services, Inc., was named the Small Business of the Year. The Small Business of the Year Award is presented to a locally-owned, privately-held member business with no more than 100 full-time employees, that demonstrates continued growth in sales and an impact on the local employment market. The Small Business of the Year nominations are reviewed by an independent auditor. The ATHENA Award was presented to Dianne Moore, WellSpan Women's Center, and Elizabeth Force Carson, M&T Bank. The ATHENA Award recipient embodies the highest level of professional excellence in their profession, has devoted time and energy to improve the quality of life to others in the community and actively assists owmen in relizing their leadership potential. This year marks the first time the Economic Alliance has presented the ATHENA Award to two individuals.
