York County Economic Alliance to Participate in Medical Device and Manufacturing Expo

YORK, PA. – May 15, 2012 – The York County Economic Alliance will participate in the 2012 Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M East) Expo on May 22-24, 2012 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA.

The Economic Alliance, along with Greater Reading Economic Partnership and Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corporation, will participate as a region in the capacity of South Central Team PA, in FirstEnergy's Regional Marketing Support Program at the Expo.                      

MD&M East is one of several trade shows in 2012 the York County Economic Alliance plans to participate in as part of the organization’s business attraction/foreign direct investment strategy.  Participating York County companies are encouraged to visit the Team Pennsylvania booth, #1636. Companies not attending the show can contact Wilda Alessi to discuss ways in which the York County Economic Alliance may be able to promote or assist their company at MD&M East.

MD&M East will bring together five shows covering the following clusters: medical device manufacturing, packaging, design & manufacturing, automation/assembly, and sustainability manufacturing solutions.

The York County Economic Alliance was formed when the York County Chamber of Commerce and the York County Economic Development Corporation joined forces on January 1, 2012. The York County Economic Alliance serves as York County’s leading business resource for facilitating economic and community development.
