Economics Club
Purpose
The Economics Club is a separate membership program of the York County Economic Alliance. The purpose of the Economics Club shall be to keep its members fully conversant in current economic and development issues affecting the York region through a series of programs consisting of 10 monthly Economics Club Breakfasts, the annual Spirit of York County Awards Breakfast, the Economics Club Social, Economics Club Holiday Open House and an Economic Development Forum for C-level executives only.
Events
Economics Club Holiday Open House: Features networking in a relaxed atmosphere and free admittance to Economics Club members based on level of membership. Attendees also include members of York County's legislative delegation, Economic Alliance Board of Directors and related entities, municipal officials and superintendents. This event is only available for Economics Club members.
Economics Club Social: This event moves around York County and features networking and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. Free admittance to Economics Club members based on level of membership. This event is only available for Economics Club members.
Economic Development Forum: This event features a speaker, roundtable discussion and networking opportunities for Economics Club members at the C-level executive only. This event is only available for Economics Club members.
Economics Club Breakfast Series: Insightful monthly breakfasts - 10 per year held on the last Wednesday of each month - featuring economic and business updates important to York County. These breakfasts are free for Economics Club members and are open to the regular Economic Alliance membership for the cost of breakfast. One designated representative is able to attend these breakfasts as a benefit of Economics Club membership.
Membership
Members of the Economics Club are York County Economic Alliance members or individuals who join the Club for information on economic development initiatives, economic breakfasts and networking. There is a yearly membership fee payable upon joining and then billed annually on April 1. Based on the level of membership, Economics Club members will also have access to three exclusive economic development events and additional benefits. Members of the Economics Club may purchase additional individual breakfast series memberships at a discounted rate.

Basic Economics Club Membership - $150
- One designated individual representative invited to attend 11 breakfasts - 10 monthly breakfasts and the annual Spirit of York County Awards breakfast
- Additional designated representative discount - $135 per person
- One complimentary invitation to the Holiday Open House
- Receipt of monthly Economic News
- Recognized as an Economics Club members in online directory
Economics Club Plus Membership - $300 Level
All benefits of Basic Membership plus:
- Two complimentary invitations to the Holiday Open House and Economics Club Social
- Company announcement included in monthly Economic News (economic impact, expansions, new locations, etc.) - Subject to approval by lead staff member
- Recognized as Economics Club Plus (EC+) member in online directory
- A $50 credit toward economic development data reports
Economics Club Plus Membership - $600 Level
All benefits of Basic Membership Level plus:
- Four complimentary invitations to the Holiday Open House and Economics Club Social
- President/CEO invited to the Economic Development Forum
- Membership recognition at Economics Club events
- A $250 credit toward economic development data reports
Economics Club Plus Membership - $1,500 Level
All benefits of Basic Membership Level plus:
- Six complimentary invitations to the Holiday Open House and Economics Club Social
- Article in Economic News (economic development related) - Subject to approval by lead staff member
- A $500 credit toward economic development data reports
