With your help, we would like to recognize those individuals or organizations with the following awards. Once nominees have been submitted, a selection committee will choose the award recipient.

Annual Dinner

ATHENA

The ATHENA Leadership Award® is presented to a woman, or man, who is honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills. Nominate someone today!

Ignite Young Professional

The Ignite Young Professional award recipient is chosen for his or her current career success and participation in professional development activities, community involvement and influence he or she has had on other young business leaders. Nominate someone today!

Small Business of the Year

The Small Business of the Year Award is given to a for-profit company with fewer than 100 employees and less than $10 million in revenue who has shown growth in employees and sales volume during the last three years.  The company has also had significant involvement in the Economic Alliance and community. Nominate someone today!

Community Service

An individual who demonstrates outstanding service to the community or an organization whose culture motivates employees to be personally involved in community service.

Education/Workforce Development Advocate of the Year

An individual who champions education — post secondary and/or pre K-12 — and its vital link to business, has demonstrated service and leadership, and has been involved with a program that has had a strong impact in the York community.

Non-profit Community Impact

A local community service organization that demonstrates service and leadership in support of the quality of life in York County. This award is presented by Central Penn Benefits.

Volunteer of the Year

An individual with “above and beyond” involvement in York County Economic Alliance activities and leadership.

Elected Official of the Year

An individual who has provided outstanding leadership consistent with the high principles of the York County Economic Alliance.

Appointed Official of the Year

An individual who has provided outstanding leadership consistent with the high principles of the York County Economic Alliance.
