Women’s Business Center Organization (WBCO)

WBCO Services Offered: 

Educational Lunches – the WBCO offers access to educational and professional development workshops that happen on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May.   These luncheon workshops feature dynamic speakers who share their skills, experience, and knowledge on topics of particular significance to business and professional women.

Networking Opportunities – the WBCO membership is made up of a wide variety of business women in York County.  Attending the lunches or other WBCO programs will assist you with developing your professional network as well as provide a trusted group of women to serve as a sounding board when needed.

Mentorship Program – provides young professional women an opportunity to connect with a more experienced woman in business to get advice and professional development lessons to help them succeed in their career goals.  The target mentee for this program is employed women ages 22 – 35.  This program will launch in early 2018 – more information to come.

Advocacy – the WBCO will strive to coordinate and facilitate community-wide discussions on issues facing women in the workplace.

Get Involved!

The WBCO has a membership that provides women access to educational events, networking opportunities, mentorship and advocacy efforts within York County.  The annual membership runs from September through August each year (new memberships will be prorated based on time of year).

Membership Investment: $200 person

Benefits: Admission into each of the 9 lunch programs, summer networking event and access to the mentoring and advocacy efforts
