Notice to Bidders for Yorktowne Hotel
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Kinsley Construction, Inc., on behalf of the York County Industrial Development Authority (“Owner”), is seeking sealed bids for four demolition contracts for the Yorktowne Hotel project.
- Bid Package 1: Selective Demolition/Asbestos Abatement
- Bid Package 2: Bulk Demolition
- Bid Package 3: Mechanical Demolition
- Bid Package 4: Electrical Demolition
Sealed bids will be received at the offices of Kinsley Construction, Inc., to the attention of Don Beinhaur, Senior Estimator, 2700 Water St, York, PA 17403 or mailed to the same at PO Box 2886, York, PA 17405, until 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. Any bids received after such date and time shall be returned unopened. Immediately thereafter Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each subcontract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder within 60 days of the bid opening.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., at the Yorktowne Hotel, 48 E. Market Street, York, PA 17401. Bid Documents, including drawings and specifications, are available by contacting Don Beinhaur, Monday through Friday during business hours, 7:30 am and 4:30 pm. at 717-741-8374 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org .
Bids shall be accompanied by bid security in the amount of Ten (10%) percent of the bid amount in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier’s check in favor of or made payable to Kinsley Construction, Inc. The successful bidders for each contract shall be required to provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to One Hundred (100%) percent of the Contract amount, and each with satisfactory corporate surety.
This Project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, and Prevailing Wage rates are included in the Bid Documents.
Kinsley Construction Inc. and Owner reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid if determined to be in the best interest of the Owner.
