About Advocacy

The York County Economic Alliance Business Advocacy Council was formed to advocate on your behalf. Using only dues designated by members to fund our efforts, and independent of the York County Economic Alliance Board in their policy making decisions, the Business Advocacy Council is more agile and more responsive to your advocacy needs.

The Council's goal is to provide timely and thorough information to our members on governmental, regulatory and business issues.

Additionally, the Council holds a variety of meetings and events to educate, inform and provide access to the process.  We host meetings with elected officials to talk about issues that are close to your business. In addition, we provide you with more opportunities to meet one-on-one with elected officials.

We also engage in cooperative efforts to improve the business climate for York County and our region.

Thank you for your support. The business community faces many legislative and regulatory challenges.

With your help, together we can meet those challenges.
