The Investors Circle of York (ICY) is a group of local accredited Angel investors looking to invest in companies that need capital in order to expand. The mission of ICY is to create a source of financial capital to help facilitate entrepreneurship, new business development and growth in the region and to bring together entrepreneurs and prospective accredited investors to form relationships with the potential for generating significant personal, business and community economic benefits.

ICY investors are experienced professionals who offer wisdom and guidance to entrepreneurs and who have the patience to allow time for company maturation. Angels consists of high net-worth individuals who have proven to be an integral part of the capital market who hold accredited investor status as outlined under the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the Securities Act of 1933. To date, ICY members have invested more than $3,000,000 in businesses.

Companies looking to request funds from ICY are required to complete and submit an application. Completed applications should be returned to the attention of:

All completed applications will be reviewed by the ICY Mentoring Committee. If an application is accepted, the Mentoring Committee will work with the company to refine the application, provide direction and practice their presentation prior to presenting it to ICY.
