About the Keystone Innovation Zone (KIZ)

A company can qualify as a KIZ company if it is less than eight years old, operates in a designated industry sector and is located within a designated geographic boundary.

Geographic Boundaries

The York Keystone Innovation Zone was developed to enhance technology growth in three hubs within York County including:

• The York City Business and Industry Park
• Patriot Equities Technology Park
• Coupling Corporation building in Jacobus

Any property controlled by HACC York, Penn State York or York College of Pennsylvania is also part of the KIZ geographic boundaries.

Advanced Manufacturing and Diversified Materials, Food and Agricultural Science, Information Technology, Green Energy and Life Sciences

Training

Training programs in a variety of areas are available for KIZ companies and partners.

Tax Credits

KIZ companies are eligible for sellable tax credits.

Incubation Services

Incubation services available to KIZ companies at little to no charge.

Access to Research

Access to research and researchers for the local institutions of higher learning.
